Understand the advance.
Put the idea in motion.
Seven interactive experiments, grounded in recent research. Every example has a question you can test.

One socket. Different jobs.
Vary thickness and flexibility by region, and see the relative mass and support assumptions change.
Explore a flexible relief region while keeping a firmer supporting wall.
Choose a region, change its wall thickness, then compare every region.
Build by region
| Region | Mass | Support |
|---|---|---|
| Relief region | 100 | 90 |
| Supporting wall | 100 | 90 |
| Distal region | 100 | 90 |
Average relative mass: 100. Lowest regional support index: 90. Reference wall = 4 mm, flexibility = 0.
Regions are schematic and material coefficients are invented. The export is a concept specification, not printable geometry or verified material data.
Inspect the demonstration rules
Each equal-area region has relative mass = wall thickness / 4 × 100. Support index = mass index − flexibility × 0.5. The whole-socket mass is the mean and reported support is the lowest region. Geometry and real material strength are not modeled.
The iSocket preprint describes region-specific material and thickness choices informed by pressure-pain thresholds, with an initial single-participant below-knee evaluation.
Demo settings remain in this view during the session. Export an experiment to retain its parameters. These experiments do not change your care case or control a device.
